Black Panther Animal
This turned out very cute when I did it for a nephew who is a fan of a super hero named Black Panther. It is easy to make. The most challenging part is stuffing those tiny cheeks with fiberfill, so don’t go too small on the crochet hook. You may need some “cheater” glasses to see the stitches using the black thread. Single crochet is all you need to know to do this and although you have to sew on all the pieces, it does give the animal a realistic look, which any child or adult will enjoy. The finished piece is about 3-4 inches (7-10 cm) sitting down, but you can use thicker yarn for a larger animal. You only need yarn scraps of Grey (cheeks), Red (mouth) and Blue and Yellow (eyes). Grey works well for the cheeks and gives it more definition than if it were all in black.
