All rounds are knit and piece is completely reversible. This cowl is designed to wear under a pretty blouse or sweater indoors or under a coat or jacket outdoors. The piece has been constructed to use exactly 1 ball of Cottage Craft Angora qiviut or qiviut/angora blend yarn however any 2 ply yarn with a nice halo will work well.
I did not block this piece as I really like the texture from the lace pattern. Also I like that the edges roll, the rolling makes for an attractive collar under my sweaters, like a fancy upgraded dickie :)
This yarn is so soft and luxurious and contains no wool. This is a real plus for those with wool allergy or sensitivity. This knits up super fast and only uses knit, yarn overs, knit 2 together, and knit 3 together… could not be easier!
