Black sheep crochet pattern,

made with Aran weight black yarn, cream double knit yarn and a 2.25mm crochet hook.
With these materials the sheep measures approx 12cm x 8cm (5” x 3”)

please note knowledge of the loop stich is required. I have not included a tutorial for this stitch as there are already really good videos available from you tube if you are unfamiliar with this technique (I got the hang of it in about 30 minutes)

Great little pattern on its own but can also be used as part of the nursery rhyme miniatures created for a story sack – pull a character from the bag and sing that nursery rhyme.

Fish – 1,2,3,4,5 once I caught a fish alive
