Black Tulip Fairisle Cushion
Introduction
Captured by the decorative style of the fifties and onwards, I research retro patterns & colours to make stranded knitwear items.
Except for the green centered tier, the Black Tulip is repeated from bottom to top, running underneath the orange bands popping up in the middle section. Except for one row in the Tulip multiple, only two colours per row are used so you can relax and enjoy your knitting. Also a perfect project to knit up your leftover yarn. I myself used stash from Kauni, Ullgarn and Jamieson’s Sprindrift, their tension matching well together. The pattern and instructions for a matching pin cushion you will find included.
* The matching pillow covers you will find in my Ravelry Store too.
