Blackberried Alive Shawl/Neckerchief
A simple shawl and/or neckerchief that I designed to keep my chest warm on cold days. As a larger lady, I wear v-neck tops a lot as they are more flattering, but scarves tend to be round and leave weird gaps! I love wearing the usual shawl triangles as neckerchiefs, but they are often a wider, shallower triangle and leave really long tails that I never know what to do with. So, I have designed this one deliberately long and not too wide – perfect to cover your front down to the waist under a coat and tie neatly at the back of your neck. Having said that, upon completion I found that it makes a rather lovely shawl and sits nicely on the shoulders too! It measures 31 inches from neck to centre point and 43 inches from side to side in snuggly aran weight yarn.
