Blackberry Street no.1
by Rag Lana
This is a very simple scarf. The stitch pattern is a variation from Blackberry stitch, but easier, as instead of knitting 3 stitches in one, the middle one is made as a yarn over (yet hardly noticed).
The yarn weight and gauge is not important: cast on more or less stitches to get the wanted width. The gauge above is given for substituting purposes.
If you want a similar texture as in the model, then use
- yarn that has suggested gauge in stockinette stitch as 16 stst / 10 cm
- needle size that you would use to get that gauge
…or for yarn with alternative weight
- use needle size that you would use to get the suggested, typical gauge of that yarn (not too tight, not too loose)
