Dublin Dye got it’s start in the village of Blackrock, in South Dublin as part of This is Knit. I made this vest for the This is Knit baby, so it had to be named in his honour!

This little vest with a cabled front is a beautiful but simple knit for a little boy or girl. It is knit in the round from the bottom up, with slipped stitch side seams, a three needle bind off at the shoulders and picked up stitches for the arms and collars. This means no finishing except for a few stray ends. The fingering weight merino yarn provides warmth without excess bulk.
