The Blair cardigan is a fitted raglan cardigan knit from the top down. It was named after the ultimate Queen B, Blair Waldorf from the Gossip Girl series. Inspired by the St Jude’s uniform and Blair’s love for red and elegant garments, this cardigan is a new coquette staple !! You can of course knit a simple ribbed neckline for the ultimate classic cardigan.

Knit on 4mm needles, it is quite a piece to work on but the result is so worth it ! The pattern calls for a fingering weight yarn held with a mohair to give the Blair cardigan an extra luxe feel.
You will work on the yoke first with german short rows to shape the back of the neck and raglan increases. Then you’ll separate body and sleeves and work them separately. Then you will knit the two front buttonbands and finally the bow around the neck.
