Gauge varies according to size you are making. Different needles and gauge are used to obtain different sizes.

Mini size uses fingering yarn, all other sizes use dk yarn. Just match the stated gauge and you will be fine.

CORRECTION- V. 2 ONLY- Where it says “rows 24-26: knit” , it should say “row 25: knit”. Rows 24 and 26 are wrong side rows and should be worked as indicated.
