Blank VHS Crossbody Bag
Yarn: Worsted cotton yarn (I used Dishie by KnitPicks, their color names are in parenthesis)
-Cream (Swan, 120 yds)
-Black (190 yds)
-Fucsia (Begonia, 25 yds)
-Orange (Clementine, 25 yds)
-Yellow (Bumblebee, 25 yds)
-Green (Jade, 25 yds)
-Blue (Azure, 25 yds)
A note about yarns: You are welcome to use whatever sturdy yarn you desire, but the colorwork will turn out best if all the yarns are the same brand and weight. Wool and other drape-y yarns will result in a less structured bag.

I’m a 90’s kid, so seeing a blank VHS was like seeing endless possibilities. Was it a bootleg of my favorite movie off TV? Was it embarrassing home videos of my sister and I that I’ve since grown to cherish? Or was it still blank, waiting for me to take my dad’s camcorder and make a masterpiece of my own? The pop graphics of the Polaroid blanks’ cases were always my favorite, so I knew I needed to make one someday. As the crossbody athletic-ish belt bags have been reaching a fever pitch of popularity, I decided to create my own, while keeping it weird.
It’s the perfect size for your essentials, and no need to be kind, rewind.
