This crocheted square throw was designed for the #10120 Hayfield Bonus DK brochure for Sirdar. Using British crochet terms and charts, the Aran-inspired blanket features bobbled and textured squares being worked in pieces and joined together on the diagonal in 4 colourways. Charts are included for the 2 square types and the schematics show both placement and colour combination of each square. The instructions for each square also include every needed colour combination. Diagrams show how to make the 18 pompoms that are attached on the square corners.

TENSION

• 1 square 23cm / 9inches measured diagonally on 4.0mm hook or the size required to give correct tension.
• The pattern lists USA F hook as the equivalent of 4.00mm.
  Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
