This quilt-inspired pattern features geometric block motifs that are worked all in one piece so you don’t need to sew the individual blocks together. It was designed to be worked as a graphghan in the corner to corner method (3 dc per block) or mini-corner to corner (2 hdc per block).

The pattern file includes an intro page that includes suggested yarns and estimated amounts needed, a color graph chart on one page, a color graph enlarged on several pages, row by row written instructions in text form, and row by row instructions in color block form. Although suggested yarn is listed, feel free to substitute the brand/colors of your choice. (You’ll notice in the files Blanket 6 & 7 have the same motifs but the block colors are swapped.)

The graph is 100x100 stitches. The finished size will depend on your individual tension. At a gauge of 3/4” per block in C2C the finished size will be approximately 75x75” before any optional border. At a gauge of 1/2” per block in mini-c2c (2 hdc per block) the finished size will be approximately 50x50” before any optional border.

The pattern is written for worsted weight/category 4 yarn, but other weight yarns will work well with an appropriate size hook for the yarn. Yarn amounts are rounded up to include some extra to allow for yarn ends but do not include amounts for any optional border.
