Alice The 4th is a colour-block knitted blanket patter, own design by Blue Balloon Atelier. The pattern looks great on it’s own but also goes well with other Alice designs, as they complement each other really well.
It uses intarsia and fair-isle technic. Although due to intarsia technic the pattern is for a intermediate knitter, you only need to have knowledge of :

  1. knit stitches (K)
  2. purl stitches (P)
  3. cast on
  4. cast off (bind off)

This is a digital PDF pattern, an instant download pattern.

The size of a finished blanket is 145x165 cm 57x65 inch, but with slightly different yarns then used for this project, and different knitting tension, you may get a slightly different result.
Deramores Studio Chunky Acrylic was used to create this pattern.
Although on the Deramores website 9mm needles are recommended for this yarn, 7mm needles give much stronger and less likely to stretch final product, which is preferable for blankets, as they get a lot of wear].
You may choose other suggested yarns, as they have similar gauge to Deramores.

To finish the project off you will also need a tapestry needle, a crochet hook to help with loose yarn ends and scissors.

The PDF pattern booklet has all colour charts for the blanket as well, as many tips and pictures, helping you to finish this project.

As for yarn, you would need approximately, based on Deramores Studio Chunky Acrylic:
4 x DBR dark brown Deramores - cocoa
3 x LBG light beige Deramores - seashell
7 x CRM cream Deramores - pearl
3 x ORN orange Deramores - burnt orange
3 x LPK light pink Deramores - salmon
2 x AQ aqua blue Deramores - aqua
3 x TP taupe Deramores - taupe
