These cozy, sturdy felted boots trimmed with a special piece of thrifted weaving. They have leather and natural rubber soles that are hand-stitched in place.

The pattern is an adaptation of the Renaissance Boots from The Knitted Slipper Book. I have written a step-by-step photo tutorial that illustrates how to knit, trim, sew, and assemble the boots.

Incidentally, the socks that are peeking out the top of these boots are the Slouch Socks, another pattern from the book.
