NOTE: This pattern is for all flat bed machines. Circular machines are not addresssed.

A number of tuck designs suitable for blankets and afghans are included along with instructions for hand selecting tuck on hobby machines and punchcard designs for machines with patterning ability. the charts for punchcards may also be input into electronic machines. Single color and two color tuck are both included.

The pattern itself is in fill in the blank form so as to allow you to get information for your specific size and gauge from charts and fill in the blanks with that. This allows for the inclusion of the 15 sizes and 5 gauges without a confusing list of numbers in the pattern. The included gauges are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 stitches per inch which will cover most tuck patterns that could be knitted in yarns from #1-#4 weight using American terminology. In older terms, that is fingering to worsted weight yarn on standard, mid-gauge and bulky machines. Some sizes of blanket require knitting in multiple panels and that information is included.

Worm trim is the edging suggested and described but of course you may get creative and use crocheting or any other finish that is suitable to the fabric.
