I have wanted to create a garment that could be used for tons of accessory needs. It can be worn as a wrap, a shawl, a poncho, an infinity scarf, a long scarf, the possibilities are endless. With buttons that hook through stitches, the ways of fastening the shawl are as limitless as your creativity. Pair it with a belt for a dressy sweater, throw it over your shoulders for a casual picnic, wrap it around your neck for a super chunky winter accessory! It’s the kind of shawl I would use every day during colder weather, it is so versatile! This is a great beginner pattern that will have your friends super impressed with your crocheting skills!

Pattern Notes:
The yarn used in this pattern stripes on its own. I love the striping pattern as it makes the shawl look interesting, especially when it is worn askew. However, it can be made with a solid or tweed and would look lovely. It is a bulky yarn which makes the garment work up quickly (most of my patterns do as I like instant gratification), however the weight of the yarn is really light and airy so it still drapes nicely. This is important, if you choose another bulky yarn try to find one that is light and airy, a dense, heavy, bulky yarn will end up producing a heavier garment. The key to this garment is the weight and drape.
