So, I moved across the world from Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Wellington, New Zealand. It was a huge change in my life and a start of a new adventure. Unfortunately it resulted in me being “fun-employed”. So, during this “fun-employment” I thought it would be fun to create patterns for all the first generation Pokémon as a way to support myself.

This is the ninth entry into the Pokédex… Blastoise! He’s approximately 5 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 7 inches in height. I do have a free Blastoise pattern but that was created in the early stages of my crochet career. I think this pattern creates a piece that looks a lot more like Blastoise.
