Blaze Cardigan
Sizes given are finished bust circumferences. You’ll need 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11) hanks of Maai and 5 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 11) hanks of Staccato for the different sizes; yarns are held together throughout. Sample shown in color “Brownstone”.
Yarn A = Maai
Yarn B = Staccato
Another way to knit the sleeves of a sweater at the same time as the body is to start with one cuff and work sideways across the garment to the other cuff. The fit is similar to hem-to-hem sweaters, but with more fun stitch patterning possibilities - can you imagine cables going horizontally from one size of the sweater to the other? Yum!
Most of these sweaters don’t have waist shaping, and hence rely on a fluid fabric to work well. I’ve turned the drape up to 11 here, with a mix of alpaca and silk yarns.
