Shining brightly the Blazing Gems shawl is a great project for mini skeins or an advent set, or to just use up some left overs; choose a colour theme or go rogue and use all the colours.

This shawl is knit sideways from end to end, the gemstones are created with W&T short rows, with a total of 77 individual gems. Each gem uses a max of 9yds / 8m of yarn, yardage will vary depending on gauge and how long a yarn tail you leave.

4ply / Fingering weight yarn
Background colour: 300yds / 275m
Gem colour: 695yds / 635m
3.25mm / US 3 needles

Finished Measurements:

60” / 152.5cm wide x 18” / 46cm at deepest point
