The Bleacher blanket is made long and narrow, meant to warm the laps or shoulders of a family or group of friends (3-4 adults) on those chilly nights at the football game.
Work in those bright, bold school team colors, either in one color or add stripes. Made with a yarn that is durable and easy to care for, it can be used both on the bleachers and in the house for Friday night movie/ sleepovers. The blanket is worked from the bottom up using basic stitches (k, p, decreases and yos) and an easy to memorize pattern, meaning you can work on it during practice. The yarn-overs and slightly larger needles create a blanket with great drape, making it easy to fold up and go.
