Während des Trocknens fiehl mir plötzlich auf, dass das Tuch im Inneren die Form eines “Tränendes Herzens” hatte….der Name war geboren.

While blocking it, I’ve suddenly seen this little heart with it’s teardrop…it reminds me of the lovely flowers called “Tränendes Herz” in germany….the name of this shawl was created.

Bleeding Heart is worked top-down, starting at the neck edge. After approx. 20cm you go on with knitting in 3 parts. The first 2 parts build the wings, the 3rd part is the middle or the tip of the shawl. The ending is worked as a ribbed border.
