Now you can make a hat to match your Blended Lines Cowl or Blended Lines Shawl. Or just make it as a cozy standalone accessory. It has lovely squishy texture and a relaxed fit. It can be made as a beanie or as a slouchy hat. The pattern is written for two adult sizes and has plenty of stretch to suit different heads. You could also change needles sizes to further customise your hat. The pink sample was knitted at a slightly looser gauge and is a more relaxed fit.
You can make a blended version to match your other accessories in this collection, you can stripe it, or you can make it in a single yarn. Maximum freedom!
Many thanks to my testers who made some lovely versions.
There is also a spring version of this hat in fingering weight yarn.

Average suits approx 21-22” (53.5-56 cm) head and large suits approx 23-24” (59.5-61 cm) head.

SUPPLIES
155-200 yards (140-180m) total of worsted weight yarn or heavy 8 ply in one or two colours. If you use two yarns, you will use a little more of one colour than the other.
US 6 (4 mm) circular needles (or dpns), or appropriate size needles to meet gauge. A 16” (40 cm) circular is recommended. You can use magic loop or dpns for the crown shaping.
You will also need a sewing up needle and a stitch marker for beginning of the round.
