Bleu de Chauffe is the name of the outfit worn by steam locomotive
chauffers, but it’s mainly the symbol of factory workers.
Yoko picked up this color in my stash because she plans to make huge works in the sand pit…

These dungarees are worked seamlessly (except some kitchener stitches for the crotch) from the top down. The very useful pockets are striped, but if you’re a lazy mom, plain pockets could be fine too, of course…

You’ll need US 4 needles and about 130 yards of MC yarn (and a very few amount of CC if necessary). As often, I worked with a yarn very adaptable at gauge to get this soft and dense fabric I like.

(Yoko is 17” tall and her dungarees are made with Harrisville Shetland Cobalt Blue. The inside of her pockets are striped to make hubert her bear really happy…)
