This cowl perfectly encapsulates what Fall really is here in the South…a couple chilly days with a whole lot of warm days. Oh yeah, and the occasional hurricane. This unique cowl is the perfect addition to your fall and winter accessories, and a fun little challenge to knit! I hope you enjoy this pattern ;)

This cowl is worked in one piece, in the round. We will cast on a certain number of stitches, then knit until our cowl reaches a certain length. We will then bind off, and seam the ends of the cowl together to form the loop. You can also add a special little twist before seaming, if desired!

The way this cowl knit is super special! Though it looks like fair isle, it isn’t. You will only work with one color on each row, but slip certain stitches so that they stay the opposite color. This is a fun and beginner friendly technique that I can’t wait to see you accomplish!
