ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Skill Level: Easy and beginner-friendly

Size: The pattern creates a blanket that is approx. 33” x 33”. Instructions for adjusting the size are included in the pattern.

Yarn: Any size 3 (light) yarn. You will need approx. 1,200 yds in total. I used Baby Cuddles by Loops & Threads in the color “White.” This yarn is size 3 (light), 70% acrylic and 30% polyamide. A skein is 315 yds / 288 m and 4 oz / 113 g. I used four skeins in total (approx. 1,000 yds for the blanket body and 200 yds for the blanket border).

Crochet Hook Size: I/9 (5.50 mm).

Can I Use a Different Yarn Weight or Hook Size?
This pattern was designed using size 3 (light) yarn and an I/9 (5.50 mm) hook. You are welcome to try different yarn weights as well as hook sizes but the overall look, feel and size of the blanket as well as the amount of yarn required may be different. I really wish I could help and tell you how to make the pattern with a different yarn weight and/or hook size but I’ve only designed, made and tested the pattern with the yarn weight and hook size listed and I wouldn’t want to give you inaccurate information.

Other Materials: Scissors, yarn needle and a measuring tape

Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
