I designed these mitts 2013 while working for Jimmy Beans Wool. I’ve made several different pairs of these mitts in the years since and each time I’ve adapted the pattern a bit to suit my liking. I personally love a pair of fingerless mitts in the winter. I like to have use of my fingers for gripping, but need just that little bit of extra warmth. The two mitts here show the 2 variations, with a little extra 1x1 rib cuff at the top and bottom. I’ve also added an additional size option for larger hands, and adapted the pattern for use with this cushy worsted/aran weight yarn. I hope you enjoy this pattern release from the JBW vault!
