Blithe Bobble Shawl
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This lightweight, easy-fitting shawl is made by crocheting from one end to the other, forming a long triangle. Stitches are increased on one side then decreased on the other. You can substitute other yarns for this pattern, but I suggest using a lightweight yarn and a crochet hook one size bigger than recommended to achieve a nice drape.
Materials:
- 3 balls Coboo yarn in Pale Pink by Lion Brand Yarn or similar weight “3” yarn
- 5 mm crochet hook
- scissor
- tapestry needle
Abbreviations and Stitches Used (US Terms):
CH – Chain
SC – Single Crochet
HDC – Half Double Crochet
Bobble
“Special” HDC Decrease – yarn over and insert hook into the front loop only of 1st stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, insert hook into the front loop of the next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.
