One snowy, blustery, blizzard-y day, I needed to make a hat. The Blitz Art Hat was designed using fisherman rib, with an artsy twist. Heart and petal shapes adorn the crown and upper third to create visual interest. The ribbing makes this a super squishy, super stretchy adult hat that can fit many different sizes. The hat is worked top down.

As written, the hat is designed to comfortably cover the ears, snugged in to stay on with a subtle shift to smaller needles without breaking the ribbing pattern. Extend as long as you wish to up-turn the brim or for a slouchier fit.

Size
Approximately 18 inches in circumference unstretched
9.5 inches (24 cm) from crown to brim
Fit is very stretchy. Comfortably fits 20-24” head circumference
