This color-block hat has a squishy texture and a fun construction that makes it perfect knitting for transition weather.

The hat is mainly worked side-to-side, beginning with a provisional cast on, and using short rows to shape the crown. The hat is then joined together and the brim is worked downward. Instructions are provided for both a slouchy fit (pictured) and classic fit.
