One of the first patterns I ever designed was the leaf stitch motif in this block – and the only reason I had the confidence to start writing patterns is because Heather supported me! I am excited to redesign this meditative combination of twisted, garter and stockinette stitches for Heather’s anniversary blanket!

Finished size: 14” x 14” (35.5 x 35.5 cm) after light blocking

Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns, Wooly Worsted, 95 yards per 50g skein, 100% merino wool superwash yarn, #4 worsted weight
* Color B - 2 skeins (53 Forest Fern)

Needles: US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles

Supplies: Tapestry needle, row counter (optional)

Gauge: 17 sts to 4” (10 cm) in garter stitch worked at, after blocking.
