This was one of the projects at our first ever retreat and so won a special place in our hearts. However, this little scarf kept it’s place by being a fun, one skein introduction to lace knitting.

This is designed for one skein of North Light Fibers Forever Lace. However, the stitch pattern is easily adaptable and an extra skein will allow you to make it larger. Feeling another color? We can substitute in any of the other colors in Forever Lace.

North Light Fibers is a Micro Yarn Mill located on Block Island, RI where handcrafted minimally processed yarns are produced from exotic fibers such as alpaca, yak, camel, cashmere, mohair, bison and other specialty fibers. All washing, dyeing, carding, spinning and finishing is performed here at the mill on the Island. Please come visit and take a tour of the mill and see the farm – walk among the alpaca and pat a yak or feed the Scottish highland bulls. Our goal is to establish year round economic sustainability to a very seasonal economy in addition to producing world-class yarn. We hope you enjoy it!
