Anticipating the start of the next link in the Blockchain Scarf to see the next colour combination is addictive. Following the twisting chain on the finished scarf is mesmerizing. Flip the scarf over and see the block pattern twist forming a soothing woven look.

The squishy worsted weight fabric is made by holding 2 fingering weight yarns together. The twist on Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply makes Fission Knitting a dream and their wide selection of solid colourways will inspire you to make more than one.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 contrasting colours of fingering weight yarn; 740 yd/ 677 m of each colour for sample length
Needles: 4.5 mm/ US #7, straight or circular
Gauge: 18 stitches and 38 rows to 4 in/ 10 cm in purlwise garter worked flat (every row is purled with both yarns held together)
Finished Size: 8.5 in/ 22 cm width; 77 in/ 196 cm length (adjustable)
Notions: 1 removable stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle, yarn sock or bag large enough to hold 2 balls of yarn.
Recommended Yarn: Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply; Dusk (MC), Sugar Maple #2 (CC), 2 skeins of each colour.
