Bloesem
Bloesem is a VERY wide shawl. Over 4 yards / 4m from left to right.
BUT…
It can be downsized, if you like.
There are 4 charts. A set up, the main chart 1, main chart 2 and the final chart.
The set up and final chart are worked once, both main charts can be worked as many times as you like.
In this shawl, the main charts are knit 14 times each.
No need to glue, cut or paste. Easy peasy.
The colours are happy and wonderful. The yarn is high quality and fluffy puffy. It’s so light.
Yarn:
Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair (225m / 25gr) in
Nut Brown, Quince, Copper, Ballerina, Hokkaido (1 ball each) Elderflower (2 balls).
Needles 3,75mm or US5
Size: Centre tip is 105 – 110cm approx. / 44”. Tip left to tip right is a bit more than 4m wide / 13 feet and a bit / 4.3 yards
Notions: many stitch markers, suitable detergent, blocking kit and T-pins, towels, blocking location, tapestry needle. You might want to choose a main marker, to indicate the uneven numbered rows.
