There is something special about living in a country with four seasons. The ascending darkness might feel like a heavy blanket being put over you whole excistence. But how ever heavy the darkness might feel, brighter days are coming, the light will return. The days become longer, sunnier and warmer and everywhere new life begins to sprout out of the cold, dark ground. Day by day we make mental notes of how, little by little, the first spring flowers strive towards the sun.That special feeling the arrival of spring gives me, has been the inspiration for this sock.

The sock is worked top down with a heel flap. The pattern offers two different versions, with stranded knitting from top down or only stranded knitting over the leg and a single coloured foot.
