This shawl combines lace and cables to represent the entwined lives of two lovers on their wedding day. A beautiful yet simple lace shawl in the stunningly soft ‘Shangri-La’ yak and silk yarn.

MATERIALS

Yarn: Bijou Basin Ranch, “Shangri-La” (50% yak down, 50% mulberry silk; 400 yds / 366 m, 2 oz / 57g, Shown in Ruby—2 hanks

Needles: Size US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” circular or longer, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE (after blocking): 6 sts = 1” in Garter Stitch pat blocked—gauge not vital for this project.

Size: Wingspan: 60”, Length: 28”

Stitch markers are used to keep track of increases. There are 6 increases every 4th Row.
