Pattern Details

• Refer to Appendix A for example project details.
• Skill Level: Intermediate
• Yarn: DK/8ply/Cat. 3 weight yarn, ~12g/0.4oz per coaster. Low-pill or non-pill, easy wash fibre (such as cotton, cotton blends, bamboo blends, and certain acrylics). Hook: Use yarn label instructions as a guide for selecting hook size. Swatch to determine the optimal hook size for your tension.
• Coaster Size: ~12.5cm/5in in diameter.
• Gauge: Specific gauge not required.
• Stitch Terminology: US. Refer to Abbreviations and Special Stitch Instructions.
• Pattern Synopsis: Constructed in the round, initially as a continuous spiral. The spiral is then closed. The bloom petal rounds are then constructed.
