I used vintage inspired shades of coral and yellow for the flowers with accents of brown, sage and cream. You could choose to make flowers to match your own decor.
Size: 17” square.
I used a standard 17” pillow that I bought in a local store. Pillow front is attached to a ready made pillow to save time. The flowers are made separately and sewn on to the front. You can use any scraps of cotton yarn for the flowers and leaves.
Gauge: 18 sts and 16 rows = 4” 10 cm in pattern stitch (if you use the yarn in pattern)
Pattern is written in US Crochet terms
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima Fine (100% Cotton; 136 yards 125 meters/50 grams): 3718 Natural (main colour)
I used scraps of leftover Cascade Pima Fine for the embellishments
You can use any yarn you like. Scheepjes Catona or Paintbox Cotton DK are two yarns that would also be suitable.
Hook: 3.5 mm for the pillow and 3.00 mm for the flowers and leaves
Notions: 17” Pillow, tapestry needle, removable stitch marker, matching sewing thread
Note that this is a formatted PDF version with 7 pages, of the free crochet pattern that can be found on my blog.
