Bloom romper. Sizes: 0, 1-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12, 12-18 months.
Order of work:
Bloom romper is worked from the bottom up. First, the back crotch piece is worked, then the front crotch piece (front piece of the romper). Then both pieces are joined, and the body of the romper body is worked in rounds, followed by the Front piece and straps. Next, the leg opening edges are finished and, if desired, the strap ruffles added.

Yarn: with a yardage of approx. 165 m per 50 g 180 yds/1.75 oz.
Possible substitutions: cotton, merino wool or blends with matching gauge.

Totals used: (100) 100 (100) 150 (150) 200 g (3.5) 3.5 (3.5) 5.2 (5.2) 7 oz.

Needles: circular needles 3.5 mm US4 and 4 mm US6 with cable length 40 cm 16 in; double pointed needles 3.5 mm US4.
Notions: crochet hook 3 mm US2.5, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, 5 buttons, diameter approx. 1 cm 0.4 in.

Gauge: make a gauge swatch and count your stitches after washing and blocking! It might be necessary to change needle size to achieve a matching gauge. If you knit tighter (have more stitches), use thicker needles, if you knit more loosely (have fewer stitches), use thinner needles.
Approx. 23 sts and 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 4 mm US6 needles (after washing and blocking).
