Boho floral shawl with an old-world charm

Blooming Dahlias Shawl is a multi-purpose shawl designed to be worn around the neck or on your shoulders. Play with colors or use your stash yarn for the flowers!

The shawl is worked flat from the top down as a triangle using Garter stitch. The Dahlias are made of bobbles of different colors. The bobbles are worked along the way with a crochet hook for a neater outcome (there is step by step guide for the bobbles in the pattern). There are altogether six Dahlias on the shawl, in two different sizes and in three different color schemes.

The wingspan of the triangle is 178 cm / 71 ¼ inches, and the height is approximately 43 cm / 17 inches.

4 balls of De Rerum Natura Ulysse | Poivre Blanc | French mérinos d’Arles and black Portuguese merino| Yardage 185 m / 202 yds per 50 g (or 740 m / 810 yds of similar yarn).

AND

1 ball of De Rerum Natura Ulysse | Merlot (or 82 m / 90 yds of similar yarn).

AND
1 ball of De Rerum Natura Ulysse | Amarante (or 40 m / 44 yds of similar yarn).

AND
1 ball of De Rerum Natura Ulysse | Ébène (or 15 m / 17 yds of similar yarn).

AND
1 ball of De Rerum Natura Ulysse | Doré (or 6 m / 7 yds of similar yarn).

Please note that if you want to alter the size of the shawl, more yarn may be required

Needles

2.75 mm / US 2, at least 60 cm / 24 inches long circular needle.

Other

Crochet hook in size 2.5 mm / US C/2, two removable markers and a tapestry needle for weaving in the yarn ends.
