This hat is worked from the bottom up, beginning with a ribbed brim. After knitting the brim, stitches are increased for the body of hat and the needle size is changed before beginning the slipped stitch
pattern, which you can work either from the charts or the written instructions, whichever you prefer.

Sizes: 19”( 21”, 23”) If the size is in between please go for the smaller size.
Finished length: 10 inches (all sizes)
Gauge: 32 and 40 rows = 4 inch (10cm) in
stockinette on US size 3/3.25 mm blocked or size needed to obtain gauge.

Yarn requirement: Approximate 190 (220, 242) yards /173 (201, 221 )m of fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US 2/2.75 mm circular needle 16 inch/40 cm (for ribbing)
US 3/3.25 mm circular needle 16 inch/40 cm
1 set double pointed US 3/3.25 needle
