Blooming Love
This lace hat is designed for cool weather. It will help hold in some body heat while still allowing air movement to prevent overheating. It is designed with a cotton/silk blend with this in mind. Other yarn fibers should still look lovely, but may not work with the above factors.
The main pattern is written with hearts on every section. Alternatives are added at the bottom of the pattern for knitting with only leaves (no hearts, which gives a chevron appearance) or with hearts and buds alternating around the hat. The hearts and buds alternative will only work on sizes that require an even number of sections.
The hat is designed to have 1-3 inches/2.5-7 cm negative ease. The circumference below is the finished measurement of the hat.
