This is a pattern for knitters who want to enjoy slip stitches, and make sure to keep a baby warm at the same time. I made the pattern during nap times when my daughter was a baby, but only found time to publish it almost three years later.

I recommend using wool, since the buds and the slipped stitches come out better with springy yarns.

Just a word of warning, this is probably not the best beginner’s project, as it contains charts and tricky slip stitches. It will be easier to follow if you have some experience with e.g. popcorn stitch and slip stitches before you start.
