Blooming Roses
Blooming Roses is a beautiful crochet rose pattern to wear as a brooch, on a hat, as a shawl pin or a bangle etc. It would look great in the home as well, as a garland or shelf decoration.
Size
The rose measures approx 12 cm across.
Materials
1 x 25g ball each of shade L68 (red) & L101 (pink) Jamieson & Smith 100% Shetland Wool, 2 ply lace
(169 m per ball)
Oddment of green yarn in DK weight
3.5 mm hook (USE/4)
Brooch pin
Wool sewing needle
To Substitute: use any standard 2 ply or lace yarn that has a knit tension of 30 sts and 32 rows to 10 cm(4in) square when worked over stocking stitch on no 3.25 mm (US3) needles. (This info is usually on the ball band label)
