I have always been fond of shawls that stay firmly on the shoulders and this one, with its cape-like shape, fits the bill! A fairly simple piece to knit, ruffled petals compliment the body as the shawl drapes sweetly over the shoulders. I-cord edges create a smooth, consistent finish around all edges of the shawl.

Construction Details
Shawl begins at the top neck edge with a provisional cast on and works outward towards the full bottom circumference. You will work each petal by working increases on specified rows. The bottom of the petals are ruffled by working a pseudo-feather-and-fan lace pattern. An I-cord bind off is worked at the bottom and then the neck stitches are picked up from the provisional cast-on and another I-cord bind off is worked. A row and stitch count checksheet is provided to help make knitting this shawl a breeze!
