Blossom in the Sun Square Motif
This pattern is for a lightweight square motif, designed out of need for a summer blanket and inspired by the blooms in my rose-garden.
Techniques used are adjustable loop(explained in pattern), ch, sc, hdc, dc, decreases, color changes, and is worked in the round. Basic crochet stitches are not explained in this pattern.
Materials needed are H size hook, yarn needle for sewing in ends, 28 yds/25.6 m DK weight yarn for single color or up to 17 yds/15.5 m per color for color changes.
Instructions include the written pattern in US crochet terms and charts. Full square motif, half-square rectangle, and half-square triangle shapes are all included.
