Blossom the Chunky Lamb
Introducing Blossom the Lamb - an interactive crochet pattern for a low sew Easter Lamb.
The finished toy makes a perfect gift for animal lovers or for an Easter celebration. I have provided detailed instructions and photos, making the pattern easy to follow for intermediate or adventurous advanced beginner crocheters. Also included is an alternative pattern for beginner crocheters. You can use most yarn types - lightweight cotton creates a smaller decoration, while chunky plush yarn results in a larger, cuddly lamb.
Written in English using US crochet terms, with step-by-step instructions and lots of photos included. Download includes a printer friendly version, as well as a colourful interactive PDF pattern.
PATTERN DETAILS
• Two methods are included: a beginner-friendly version and a more advanced version
• No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms
• Sewing required for hair and ears
• Approx. 20cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook, 35cm tall with chunky yarn and 4mm hook (not including ears)
• Mix and match with my other Chunky and Pig patterns. For example, make yourself a golfer lamb by using this pattern to modify Rory the Golfer Pig
SKILL LEVEL
Beginner - Both versions use simple stitches, a little sewing, some front loop only stitches, and a few colour changes. The more advanced version also includes loop stitch.
