Blossom the Queen Bee and Clover the baby bee
This pattern includes two different bee designs in one! Blossom is a Queen Bee who is soft and cuddly but firm enough to stand up. She measures 5” tall (including her antenna). Clover is a teeny 2” bee who is perfect both for little hands to squish and for bigger folks to “ooh” and “ahh” over.
You can make Blossom and Clover bigger or smaller just by changing the yarn weight and/or hook size.

To complete these patterns, for Blossom you’ll need:
Worsted weight yarn in yellow, black and white. For the one shown in the pattern I used Cascade Longwood.
Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook
12mm black safety eyes
Polyester stuffing
Tapestry needle
For Clover you’ll need:
DK weight yarn in yellow, black and white. For the one shown in the pattern I used Schachenmayr Extrafine Merino 120.
Size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook
7.5mm black safety eyes
Polyester stuffing
Tapestry needle
Most of this pattern is straightforward: single crochet, increases and decreases. The joined stripe rounds are a little tricky to get used to at first but there are progress photos which should ensure you don’t get lost!
