Blossoming Liana
Blossoming Liana is a semicircular lace shawl knitted from the center back of the neck down to the border.
LEVEL OF SKILLS: From intermediate to advanced.
The pattern is charted; row-by-row written instructions are not included.
It is strongly recommended to use natural fiber yarns (linen, cotton, wool, and silk), at least yarns with a minimum synthetic content; approx. 600–800 m (656–875 yds) per 100 g.
YARN USED: ECOMOHAIR Yarn (72% mohair, 28% polyamide; 750 m (820 yds)/100 g).
The sample required 900 m (985 yds) or 120 g of yarn.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 180 cm (71 inches) х 90 cm (35½ inches).
TOOLS & NOTIONS:
Size 3.25 mm (US 3) circular needles;
Size 2.0 mm crochet hook for binding off (as also for provisional cast on);
You will also need markers, tapestry needle, and a waste yarn.
GAUGE is not important for this project. Finished size and yarn consumption will depend on yarn choice, needle size and your individual manner of knitting.
CHARTS show only the right side (RS) rows; they are read from right to left. On the wrong side (WS) rows all stitches are worked as they appear, that is, knit stitches are knitted; purl stitches are purled unless otherwise specified.
