Blossoms Scarf
by Nancy Hand
This design couldn’t make up it’s mind as to what it wanted to be. It started as a doodle, became a quilt block, and is now a knit pattern. Then it was going to be a blanket but became a scarf instead.
Gauge, yarn, and needles are suggestions. Find a fabric you like. The sample used two lace-weight yarns on 2.75mm needles.
Included are a stranded-style chart and a double-knit chart. The charts show the colors as dark and light. As an experiment, since the computer program was cooperative, I’ve included full written instructions of the “(k1 light, p1 dark) x 5” type. The written instructions run for 10 pages.
