Blouse No. 1 light
Blouse No. 1 light is a simple, fitted, long-sleeved blouse with a boat neckline.
The sleeves are fitted with a bit of flare at the bottom.
The neckline is shaped by working short rows, which ensure a great fit. The yoke and sleeves are shaped using the contiguous method, which makes the sweater seamless.
Blouse No. 1 light is worked from the top down.
SIZES

MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 79 (84) 89 (97) 105 (116) 127 (136) cm 31 (33) 35 (38.25) 41.25 (45.75) 50 (53.5) inches
Width of the front (shoulder seam to shoulder seam): 31 (34) 35 (37) 39 (39) 41 (41) cm 12.25 (13.25) 13.75 (14.5) 15.25 (15.25) 16.25 (16.25) inches
Length (measured at the center front): 52 (53) 54 (56) 58 (60) 63 (65) cm 20.5 (20.75) 21.25 (22) 22.75 (23.5) 24.75 (25.5) inches
Size guide
Blouse No. 1 light has a tighter fit. Calculate a negative ease of approx. 2-5 cm 0.75-2 inches.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) are equivalent to European standard sizing and suit a bust circumference of approx. 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm 31.5-33.5 (33.5-35.5) 35.5-37.5 (37.5-39.5) 39.5-43.25 (43.25-47.25) 47.25-51.25 (51.25-55) inches.
In example: You measure 88 cm 34.75 inches at your widest minus 2 - 5 cm 0.75 - 2 inches = 83 - 86 cm 34 - 32.75 inches. Meaning you would choose a size S with a finished circumference of 84 cm 33 inches.
The loosely knitted material makes the blouse very flexible and drapes beautifully. If you are in between sizes, choose the smaller one.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES
6 mm US 10 circular needles (40 and 80 or 100 cm 16 and 32 or 40 inches)
I recommend using metal needles, as it can be difficult to slide across the stitches using wood/bamboo, when working in silk mohair alone.
GAUGE
In stocking stitch using 6 mm US 10 needles.
15 sts / 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches.
